The Dresses that Rocked the #Oscars2015

Eerybody knows, that the Oscars is the highest award body for movies all over the world. Literally, when an actor or actress wins an Oscar, they become A-list. Its like the great hallmark of success.

Thanks to E-Red Carpet live..its not just about the awards alone, but also about who wore what.

Yesternite, I stayed up watching the Oscars...and I was wowed by the dresses worn by a lot of actresses.

So I have compiled my favorites for the night
Lupita Nyongo's Calvin Klein dress was coated with over 6,000 pearls. I think she looked awesome. I was totally blown away.
Lady gaga looked divine in this beautiful work of art by French designer Azzedine Alaia. I also like the edgy red gloves, which made the whole emsemble gagacious

Princess JLO is awesome in this dress by Ellie Saab. She looked like the belle of the ball. I love

This lovely yellow Romona Keveza dress suits Jennifer well. You rock gal!!
I love the E! Presenter's dress. I don't usually like her red carpet choices..but this is IT. Suits her well.

Jessica's bold colored Givenchy dress stood out of the crowd. I love the sparkle and the slit. Beautiful

Oh Reese..You look amazing in this custom Tom Ford dress.

It would a sin not to mention Julianne Moore's Chanel Haute Couture dress embroidered with 80,000 small hand-painted white sequins.

And my best dressed goes to.........LUPITA.....Yeaaaah....am literally in awe of that dress.

On my next post i'll be sharing my worst dressed ladies..

One Love!!!

#teeteemoviereview 4: Addicted

Its another weekend again......yeahhhhhhh!!!! and its time to wake up late, relax, do your house chores and watch a movie!!

So last month I watched this very interesting movie, and I think you'll enjoy watching it too.

Before I proceed, please do not watch this movies with kids around. It is rated 18.

Addicted is an erotic thriller movie that deals with infidelity in a marriage.  Unlike what most people think, its the woman who did the cheating.

The movie stars a lot of black casts like Tyson Beckford ( a supermodel), Sharon Leal ( Tyler Perry's 'Why Did I Get Married'), Boris Kodjoe (Kevin Hart's 'Real Husbands of Hollywood'), and those of you who are addicted to Mexican Soap Operas or Telemundo will be familiar with William Levy.

The movie follows the story of  a seemingly successful black woman who has a thriving business, loving husband ( the kind we all want), and beautiful kids. Underneath that beautiful life is her need for sex 24/7...I mean she literally cannot discipline herself.  She is a nymphomaniac.

Later on in the movie, I discovered she has sex with her husband like 2 to 3 times everyday, and she aint satisfied, and am like What????????? Anyways, since her hubby wasn't giving her enough of what she wanted, she had to go outside her marriage to get it, and of course things got ugly.  In fact very ugly.

For those of you who appreciate fine clothing.. you'll love the wardrobe of the lead actress, and the décor of her home. However, this movie has lots of sex scenes. Quite frankly, I never expected to see the lead actress (Sharon Leal) act such a sexually charged movie, with lots of sexual scenes and nudity.

Another eye catcher in the movie is Boris Kodjoe..my my, that guy is good looking and very fit. (Reminds me of my hubby. lol)

For me, the most important lesson from the movie is Communication in Marriage.

I sincerely think, the movie was well acted. Even though its a low budget film...and it made profit at the Box Office. As per ratings, it didn't do too well. But, notwithstanding, its a very interesting movie to watch, especially for couples.

#teetee'sRatings: 7

Anyways, please watch the movie and let me know your thoughts.

Mothers are gods. Do you agree?

It was one of those moments out of a several, where I got overwhelmed with this full-time job called Motherhood. In that split second, it crossed my mind that I am a god. Yes...I said it a g-o-d.

To my son, I am his Alpha and Omega. I feed him, bathe him, provide warmth, care for him, take care of his every needs. Whenever he needs something he crawls to me, and starts to talk in baby language trying to get my attention. Even when I scold him, he still comes back to me with hands stretched wide for me to carry him.

Now, isn't that what God does for us?

So therefore, I can say with all boldness that I am a god...and I like the feeling.

Now, don't go thinking am excluding
the fathers. Fathers are important. They are breadwinners and defenders of the home. Just like Voltron ( How many of you can remember Voltron?..."defender of the Universe").

Sometimes, I wonder what goes through the minds of these babies. I wonder what they are thinking. At times I catch my son looking at me, and I wonder....Does he wonder who I am? Does he know am his mum? Does he know the meaning of Mum? If he doesn't, then who does he think I am?

Anyways, back to godship.....I am of the opinions that mothers are gods. I mean, the way our mothers multitask...manage the home, their husbands, kids and business. I love the definition of MOM as depicted in the picture above.

But......I wonder where the strength comes from. I must say its innate. I mean, the demands of motherhood especially if you're a career or business woman.

Well....Kudos to all mothers out there. If you're one give yourself a hug...if you desire to become one....you deserve a hug too...and if you have one...give her a hug.

So, do you agree mothers are gods?
